You may qualify for a Permanent Total Disability (PTD) award if the work-related injury permanently incapacitates you from performing any gainful employment for which you are suited by experience and training.

 When your Permanent Total Disability award is exhausted (80 months), you may qualify for an extension of benefits only if you are still unable to work at any gainful employment.  Extended benefits must be applied for annually using the Application for Extended Permanent Total Disability.
