Medicare/Medicaid Beneficiaries

New federal law requires the Division report certain information to the Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services. In an effort to comply with the new federal requirements, the Division will need your Health Insurance Claim Number (HICN). This is the number assigned to your by the Social Security Administration identifying you as a Medicare beneficiary. The first nine (9) digits must be numeric, normally followed by an alpha character.
